Written Walkthrough P5

Wickham & Bandit Sewers

Enter town, grab the wood just outside, and head into the bar to meet Pepper. Speak with Rosalie and remember the expensive book she sells — it matters later. This is also your first chance to buy food buffs. I buy 5× Rabbit Broth.

Before leaving, pet the cat on the left. There’s an achievement for petting every cat — and yes, we’re petting all cats.

Head west and speak with Sam. He has solid wares, especially the Barbaric Warhammer for two-handed builds. The Heretic Shield isn’t terrible either. You can also buy mana and health potions here — they stack with flasks, but do NOT recharge on rest, so use them sparingly. These can easily become a gold sink.

Activate the Witch Stone and speak with Shirin (Tailor NPC). She’ll meet you later at the Witch Tree caravan. Continue west, enjoy the dad jokes, and enter the building to meet Commander Clayborne. Accept his quest, then head east — the sewer door should now open. Time to clear bandits.

Enter the sewers and grab the coalescence immediately to your right. There’s a locked door here, so head left and drop down. Grab the wood on your way down and use your camera carefully so you don’t fall too far.

At the bottom, head left and climb up for mana potions, then backtrack and go right. You’ll see a gate you can open — ignore it for now. Keep heading right, clearing bandits. You’ll find a Railed Gate Key and start getting Bandit Ears as drops.

Climb the ladder and break the wall to your right. Use a lockpick to grab the Stoneskin Potion diagram along with crafting materials.

Now head left and run past the spikes and the rogue mage. Drop down to grab additional lockpicks. Climb back up and drop directly onto the mage to dispatch her safely. At the top, make sure to jump back across to grab a map fragment.

You can now return to the locked door from the beginning. Open it and head down to the gate on the bottom floor.

Through the door, activate the Witch Stone. Head left to fight a tougher bandit variant. Duck the poison daggers and dodge behind attacks. Clear it, then head right and rest if needed.

Continue right to encounter another Corrupted Vermin miniboss. Same rules as before — the only difference is that it now drops Shadow Shards. These are useless for Vanguard, but helpful for Spellweavers. Ignore the locked gate beyond the miniboss for now.

Head back left and climb the shiny wall grab points. If you go right, you’ll spot a treasure goblin — you can’t kill it yet, so ignore it. Go left instead, platform carefully, and dodge the traps.

Down the ladder, clear the final two bandits and grab the lockpicks to your left. Pull the lever, then return to Commander Clayborne to turn in the quest. Enjoy the dialogue about Pepper stuffing the wrong bird.

After turning in the bandit quest, tell Clayborne about Gerald. Outside, speak with Pepper and accept his quest to return to Old Wickham. Head east out of town, grab the wood spawn, and speak with Gerald. Give him the good news and he’ll join your caravan.

Before returning to the caravan yourself, climb the cliff to the east and grab the Cardinal Leaf spawn again. You might get lucky and find a Savage Broadsword from the nearby enemy — an excellent early weapon for Wyldwardens.
